The branches at our Frankfurt am Main location specialise primarily in the fields of financial services (in particular banks and financial service providers, asset managers, financial investment agents and high-net-worth individuals), real estate (in particular capital management companies and real estate funds), as well as corporate finance (valuation and transaction advice across all branches).
Here, our customers also include capital market-oriented companies (including public interest entities – PIEs). With our China Desk, already established in Frankfurt, and cooperation with the global accounting and advisory network ShineWing International, as well as the new French Desk, we are also optimally networked internationally. We have pooled our expertise via an experienced team in Frankfurt, which works together with various project or expert teams from other locations within the DORNBACH Group.
Since the Middle Ages, Frankfurt am Main has been one of Germany’s most important urban hubs. Frankfurt am Main became a free city in 1815. The Federal Assembly of the German Confederation sat here, as did the first German parliament in 1848/49. After the Austro-Prussian War, the city state of Frankfurt, which had been independent for almost 500 years, became part of Prussia. Rapid industrialisation led to a surge in population. Since 1875, the city has had over 100,000 inhabitants, and since 2013 over 700,000. As a mark of its commitment to European unity, Frankfurt has named itself a city of Europe, or Europastadt.
