Simone Fischer joined KPMG AG in the audit division after completing her degree in Business Administration at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. She was admitted as a tax advisor in 1997 and as a certified public accountant in 1998. From 2005 to 2018, she was a partner at KPMG, specializing in the auditing of international publicly listed companies and international accounting under US GAAP and IFRS. Simultaneously, she led the sustainability management and reporting (Assurance & Governance) division and served as the Sustainability Officer for KPMG Germany. In 2018, she moved to Bouffier Kaiser & Partner as a partner, joining the management of the tax consulting and auditing firm.

Simone Fischer has been active for many years in various professional committees (including the IDW Institute of Public Auditors in Germany and the Schmalenbach Society for Business Administration) and has gained experience on several supervisory and advisory boards of listed and medium-sized companies.

In 2024, Simone Fischer joined DORNBACH in Koblenz.
